Researchers at the Munich Institute of Robotics and Machine Intelligence (MIRMI) at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) have made another breakthrough: Robotic arms that can transport filled jars as quickly and safely as a human. The team around Rafael I. Cabral Muchacho uses a simulated pendulum, which reduces the computing power required for such a task many times over.
