DInO supports and accelerates the digital transformation in Eastern Bavaria by providing crucial support to public institutions and SMEs every step of the way. Matthias Schmid from YORMAS AG, a family business from Plattling, shared an inspiring success story in his keynote: from the transition to paperless offices to the introduction of a 4-day week. They are currently exploring the possibilities of AI applications and are on the way to introducing a 3-day week. This real-life example shows the immense potential of digitalization for the economy and society.
The subsequent panel discussion on innovation and digitalization in SMEs met with great interest and active participation from the audience. The event concluded with a “marketplace” where all partners of the DInO consortium presented their services and technological innovations. The presentations ranged from fascinating demonstrations of eye-tracking to drone technologies.
