The importance of software engineering and artificial intelligence (AI) for companies is growing steadily. For this reason, the Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences (THI), the East Bavarian University of Applied Sciences Amberg-Weiden (OTH) and the fortiss State Research Institute have joined forces under the leadership of fortiss to form the Bavarian Center for Software Innovation.

The center combines the expertise of the partners and their established regional networks and offers a broad range of services in the fields of software engineering and AI for SMEs throughout Bavaria. The focus is on the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), AI and machine learning, platform engineering, knowledge-based software engineering, software quality and data quality, and cyber security.
