Bavarian AI Council sets impulses for Government of the Free State and bids farewell to Head Prof. Sami Haddadin

Guest of honor, Bavarian State Minister Markus Blume, set the impulse for a fruitful discussion with the AI experts. His vision: A Bavarian-wide, joint mission serving as a catalyst for innovative AI made in Bavaria as e.g. a Bavarian Foundation Model which is available for research, companies and startups.

Gratitude and Good-bye to Professor Sami Haddadin

Since his appointment as Head of the Bavarian AI Council, Sami Haddadin has been a driving force in bringing Bavarian AI on the national and international stage as well as implementing baiosphere as the brand name of the Bavarian AI network. The commitments of his tenure span from decoding opportunities and risks of AI to the public to drafting an AI infrastructure for Bavaria to connecting 100 HTA-AI professorships and inspiring the first Bavarian AI Conference AI.BAY in February 2023. Bavarian State Minister Markus Blume, along with Co-Chairs Fabian Theis and Thomas Hahn as well as the entire Bavarian AI Council and the Bavarian AI Agency extend their heartfelt gratitude for his dedication and tireless support.
