    Nationwide funding programs

    Numerous funding programs are available at the federal level to support AI research. A central contact point is the Federal funding database. Various filters allow targeted research for funding opportunities by region (e.g. Bavaria), target group, fields such as digitalization or artificial intelligence, as well as by type of funding . The Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space also provides funding in the field of AI with the program "Future of Value Creation" .

    Additionally, the Learning Systems Platform provides an overview of current calls for funding in the field of AI and data-driven technologies. For scientific projects, organizations such as the German Research Foundation (DFG) as well as the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) provide relevant funding programs and cooperation opportunities.

    EU funding programs

    With GenAI4EU the European Union specifically promotes generative AI "Made in Europe".

    COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) promotes international research and innovation networks and enables the establishment of interdisciplinary collaborations in all areas of science and technology.
