Future Congress Bavaria – 05.02.2026
The Future Congress Bavaria is dedicated to the digital transformation of the state and administration under the theme "Innovation with Tact and Speed." The focus is on how clear structures, strategic management, and bold implementation can work together to create a modern, efficient, and citizen-focused administration. The congress views digitalization as a collective task of the federal government, states, and municipalities, with governance as the central framework for effective innovation.
Based on a well-founded location assessment, concepts, strategies, and solutions for further digital transformation are discussed. Thematic focuses include digital strategies, digital sovereignty and cloud, register modernization, reduction of bureaucracy, implementation of the Online Access Act (OZG), artificial intelligence, process digitization, and the digital municipality. The congress provides space for open, and even controversial, exchanges between administration, politics, science, and IT and consulting companies.
The program is complemented by an informal networking meeting on the evening before the congress. Under the title "Public Sector and Friends meets Zukunftskongress Bayern," interested parties from administration, business, GovTechs, civil society, and science come together to exchange ideas and make new contacts.
