The Munich-based company NavVis has completed a Series D funding round worth 85 million US dollars. With the new capital, the company aims to further expand its platform for spatial data and advance the development of AI applications for industry and construction.
NavVis develops technologies that enable factories, buildings, and other physical environments to be captured and made available as digital replicas. These spatial data are intended, among other things, to serve as a basis for automation, AI systems, and robotics. According to the company, more than one billion square meters were captured, processed, and provided via the platform alone in 2025.
The funding round is led by the US investment company The Jordan Company. Existing shareholders Yttrium, KOZO KEIKAKU ENGINEERING, and Cipio Partners also participate. NavVis plans to further develop its technology and infrastructure with the capital, particularly expanding the Physical AI sector.
Dr. Felix Reinshagen (NavVis co-founder and CEO, member of the Bavarian AI Council):
"Our mission is to keep the physical and digital reality in sync for the world's most valuable assets. Our customers are the world's most demanding operators. And they entrust us with billions of square meters of spatial data of their most critical infrastructure. We sought this round to achieve even more: more scalability, more intelligence, and ultimately more productivity for the underlying assets. At the same time, we will expand our market presence with a strong focus on the US market, where we have grown the fastest in recent years."
