With the new university certificate TCW@ForesightAI an innovative further education offering is created that purposefully brings together AI, strategic foresight, and practical application specifically for small and medium-sized enterprises. The project is funded through the funding line digital.ING II of the Bavarian State Ministry for Science and Art.

The goal of the program is to help companies to classify technological developments at an early stage, make informed decisions about the future, and meaningfully integrate AI solutions into everyday business life. The certificate is based on a modular and flexibly designed study concept that is oriented towards the time and content needs of working professionals.

The didactic design combines digital learning stimuli, AI-supported individual learning paths, hybrid teaching formats, and compact time models such as lunch learning. This enables a high compatibility of further education and career. The project is based on the experiences of the predecessor project AI@ProSuccess is systematically building on and further developing this. A special focus is on low-threshold access that takes into account different prior knowledge and promotes practice-oriented learning.

The university certificate includes three to four modules, each with five ECTS, including topics such as Foresight AI, Applied AI as well as a project-based practical phase with real issues from companies. The offering is complemented by close collaboration with regional partners from business, science, and other institutions.

With a duration from January to December 2026 and a funding volume of 100,000 euros, TCW@ForesightKI makes a targeted contribution to strengthening regional innovative capacity and sustainably anchors future-oriented training formats at the Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences.
