Europe is lagging behind in Artificial Intelligence - in the USA, billions are being invested in huge data centers, mostly using technology from Nvidia. Now, the chip giant apparently plans to build an AI data center in Munich together with Deutsche Telekom. Computing power of around 10,000 CPUs is conceivable. Bavaria's Minister of Economic Affairs Aiwanger speaks of a "strong signal for the high-tech location of Bavaria".
