At the campus of the Klinikum Rechts der Isar, TUM has initiated the construction of the Center for Digital Medicine and Health (ZDMG) with a symbolic groundbreaking ceremony - an interdisciplinary high-tech building that will provide modern infrastructure for AI-supported medicine and data science on approximately 2,050 m² starting from the end of 2027. Around 47.1 million euros will be invested in areas for research, computing, and research to promote practical cutting-edge research with a focus on patient safety.
