How AI Agents Are Changing Our Work - 22.01.2026

On January 22, 2026, an in-person event on collaboration between humans and AI agents will take place at the pavilion of the Munich University of Applied Sciences. The focus will be on how hybrid teams are already automating routines, utilizing decision-making aids, and developing new forms of work division. Specific practical experiences from a current pilot project with corporate partners will be presented and contextualized.

The event highlights the added value that AI agents can already create today, the new roles, responsibilities, and control mechanisms that are emerging, and the prerequisites necessary for effective collaboration. This involves both technological aspects as well as skills, attitude, data situation, and governance. Contributions from the project team provide additional insights and open up space for discussion.

The event concludes with an interactive short workshop inviting participants to share their own experiences, questions, and ideas. In small groups, there will be a joint reflection on how collaboration with AI is currently experienced and what conditions must be met for it to be successful in the future. The evening also offers an opportunity for exchange and networking in the Munich business environment.
