Using AI for Evidence Synthesis: Opportunities and Risks - 18.02.2026
The presentation highlights the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Systematic Literature Reviews and Meta-Analyses. The focus is on potentials for increasing efficiency as well as methodological and ethical risks in the use of AI-based tools in research.
Using one's own research work shows Prof. Dr. Shelley Boulianne, how AI can be used in evidence synthesis and the challenges that arise in doing so. Additionally, approaches for future interdisciplinary research are discussed.
The event will take place on February 18, 2026, at the Center for Advanced Studies of the LMU Munich and will be moderated by Dr. Magdalena Obermaier. After the lecture, there will be room for discussion.
