Bar code – 12.03.2026
On März 12th 2026 the Barcamp “Bar-Code” for female and male software developers will take place in the Center for Artificial Intelligence (CAIRO) of the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS). From 9am to 5pm everything revolves around the modern software stack, practical questions from everyday developer life and the open exchange in the community. The format follows the classic barcamp principle: In the morning participants pitch their session ideas, and afterwards the program is created from the topics that people are actually interested in – for example new frameworks, Clean Code, deployment strategies or AI tools for developers.
The event is aimed at everyone who writes code — from juniors to seniors, from frontend and backend to DevOps roles. Participants can share their own experiences, bring up questions and gain insights into other technologies or ways of working, for example CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes or Docker. In addition, the following day offers a thematically appropriate continuation with the "AI Camp Würzburg" for tech enthusiasts who want to deepen their exchange on AI and software engineering.
Organizer: Ute Mündlein and Franziska Raupach in collaboration with the Center for Artificial Intelligence (CAIRO) of the TH Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS)
Language: German
Target audience: Software developers (Frontend, Backend, Fullstack, DevOps), juniors to seniors, tech enthusiasts and other people from the developer community
