3rd Upper Franconian AI Conference – 05.03.2026

Am 05. März 2026 the KMU-KI Experience Center (KMU-KI-EZ), in cooperation with the Bamberg Center for Artificial Intelligence (BaCAI) at the Otto-Friedrich University of Bamberg, as well as vbw – Association of Bavarian Business (e. V.), Upper Franconia district group, are organizing the 3rd Upper Franconian AI Conference at the ERBA Campus of the University of Bamberg.

The focus is the topic "Generative AI in the European context" and how small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) can sensibly and securely use the potentials and challenges of AI.

Participants have the opportunity to exchange views with experts from research and practice on current developments, concrete use cases and best practices in AI — for example in open-table discussions, workshops and hands-on sessions (including "From RAG to the Agent") — and to discuss trustworthy and secure AI adoption in the corporate context in the closing panel.
