NTA Conference 2026: Social Change Through AI? Against Disorientation 21.09.-23.09.

Interdisciplinary Conference on the Social Significance and Consequences of Artificial Intelligence

The NTA Conference 2026, organized by the Institute for Social Research and Technology Assessment (IST) of OTH Regensburg, is an interdisciplinary conference of the Network Technology Assessment (NTA).

At the center is the confrontation with social change through Artificial Intelligence (AI): How can AI technology be used sensibly and classified socially? What opportunities, risks, and ethical and legal questions arise in everyday life, the workplace, politics, and science?

The conference highlights these topics from various perspectives – including between regulation and design aspirations, trust and uncertainty, as well as between practical and scientific discourses.
