We are thrilled to invite you to the upcoming Munich AI Lecture featuring distinguished researcher Prof. Guido Montúfar from the University of California, Los Angeles and the Mathematical Machine Learning research group at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences. The lecture is organized by the AI-Hub at LMU. 

In this talk, Prof. Montúfar will discuss recent theoretical insights into why deep learning works so well, highlighting key discoveries, open questions, and surprising behaviors that challenge traditional understanding.
