Mobility

Bavaria is home to a thriving AI mobility sector, with numerous companies and research institutions investigating in topics as e.g., autonomous driving, drones, smart traffic and electric power management. Universities in Bayreuth, Munich and Ingolstadt area and several non-university research institutes drive the future of AI mobility, together with strong partners from the automotive and aerospace industry. Together, they pave the way for a more connected, intelligent, and sustainable transportation system. 

Through the Hightech Agenda Bavaria, the Bavarian State Government has acknowledged the Ingolstadt area as the hub for mobility topics in the Free State. Strong partnerships between the Technical University of Ingolstadt (THI) and its locally surrounding non-university research institutions as well as industry have boosted groundwork in next to all areas in the field of future mobility.  

The mobility hub is the only ai hub given a brand name, AImotion Bavaria.
