The Bavarian AI Agency of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences networks leading players and projects in the field of Artificial Intelligence in Bavaria within the BAIOSPHERE, making their services internationally visible. Through targeted exchange and strategic cooperation, a powerful ecosystem emerges that promotes innovations and concrete results in science and application.

As Project Manager Science Relations (m/f/d), you support the expansion and maintenance of the scientific network in the BAIOSPHERE. You identify relevant scientific actors, activate them for exchange formats, and accompany selected programs and events both content-wise and organizationally.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Community Management: Conception, implementation, and further development of target group-oriented network and exchange formats for the scientific AI community.

  • Project Management: Participation and coordination of selected network projects of the AI Agency, e.g., the Munich AI Lecture Series.

  • Communication: Preparation of content/updates for website, newsletter, and social media in coordination with the communication team.

  • Day-to-day business: You support organizational and administrative processes, especially in the areas of event organization, data management, and reporting.

These profile characteristics distinguish you:

  • Successfully completed university degree (Diploma/Master)

  • Ideally, first professional experience in project and/or science management

  • Good understanding of the scientific landscape, ideally in the field of AI and digitalization, as well as an interest in current developments in the research and innovation environment.

  • You are well organized, work independently, and keep an overview even with multiple parallel tasks.

  • You enjoy working effectively in an interdisciplinary team and bring an analytical, structured, and solution-oriented mindset.

  • You enjoy networking and with your communicative strength, you succeed in confidently connecting different stakeholders.

  • If the personal and tariff requirements are met, recruitment and classification will take place in max. salary group 13 of the collective agreement for public service in the states (TV-L).
