Dr. Michael Klimke 

CEO BAIOSPHERE AGENCY / Bavarian AI Agency 

Dr. Michael Klimke is CEO of the Bavarian AI Agency, the central hub for artificial intelligence of the Free State of Bavaria. In this role, he leads BAIOSPHERE, Bavaria’s AI ecosystem, connecting actors across science, industry, and government, making Bavaria’s AI strengths visible internationally, and fostering innovation, transfer, and responsible application. His work focuses on building bridges between research excellence, industrial application, technology policy, and international exchange.

Previously, he served as Managing Director of the Department of Aerospace and Geodesy and the TUM Graduate School at the Technical University of Munich. Earlier roles include positions at the German Aerospace Center in Cologne and the NGO HOPE worldwide in Berlin. Michael Klimke holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Stuttgart.
